growing in christ

At First ARP, we seek to be people who follow the calling of Christ . . . ultimately, to take up our cross and serve Him.  We do this by following the example of the Great Commission (calling):  making disciples of all people groups, baptizing in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and then teaching them to obey all that He has commanded.  Simply put, we try to do this by discipling one person at a time--life-on-life discipleship.  However, we also emphasize gathering together as God's people in order to be fed, led, and wed to Jesus our Lord.  Below, you will find the regular opportunities that we have each and every week to grow in Christ and help others to grow in Christ.

Sunday

Sunday School - Sundays at 10:00 am

Sunday School gives us the opportunity to “share life” together while growing in the basics of our faith and learning to apply it to life today. Children's and youth classes use “Show Me Jesus” curriculum from Great Commission Publications, equipping and preparing them as lifelong followers of Jesus Christ by rooting them firmly in God’s Word. Each age level of the curriculum uniquely contributes to a well-rounded Biblical education from toddler through high school.  Five (5) adult classes offer a variety of studies and teaching styles.  Click HERE for an in-depth overview of our Christian Education, including descriptions of the adult class studies.
