We are a Presbyterian and Reformed Church professing life together in Christ, committed to the lordship of Jesus Christ, and committed to the Bible as the Word of God. In worship, we employ an ancient Christian summary of belief known as the Apostles' Creed:
I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth;
And in Jesus Christ His only Son, our Lord; Who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary; suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic Church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen.
We also believe that the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms accurately summarize the main teachings of the Bible. For more on what our church and our denomination believes and practices, see
The Standards of the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Additionally, we believe in the free offer of the gospel to all who will hear. The gospel is the spoken good news of the life death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Through being united to Christ, all are offered the hope of a meaningful life on earth now and eternal life forevermore. For more information, click here.
Finally, as Presbyterians we believe Scriptures teaches the church is to be led by elders. Click here for more information about this type of government and to see a list of our current elders.
