At First ARP Church, you will be invited to participate by singing, hearing God's word proclaimed, confessing the historic Christian faith, and praying for the coming of God's kingdom on earth as it is in heaven. Drawing from a rich past of Christian singing, we join in offering psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs to our God. Our worship space was built at the end of the nineteenth century and is equipped with a pipe organ, which provides most of the musical accompaniment in our second service. Each Sunday we hear a Bible passage read and a sermon based upon it, challenging us to trust God's grace and follow his ways. Children hear a children's sermon and may participate in children's church during the service. Our first service at nine o'clock features guitar and piano in a more intimate, family-friendly atmosphere. In our second worship service at eleven o'clock, people tend to dress more formally. Regardless of what you wear, we hope you'll come and worship God with us as we seek always to be reformed according to the Scriptures and conformed more unto the image of Christ.
